I have a question. I e been at this for a while and I’m up to 12, but I am curious, does the light bleeding ever stop? Or is this something that just happens every time. Am I not doing it enough? Or am I doing it too much, I think I’ve been doing this for 3 months now.
Hey! Every person’s body is different, but on the average you should allow about a week, sometimes more sometimes less, to let your inner urethral tissues recover. Bleeding? Depends on the source(s) of bleeding, that is, is it internally from your urethra, or is it from stretching your hole at your glans. Either way, you’ll need to allow more time for healing to occur. Instead of a week you may need to allow two weeks or even more. Depends on how rapidly your tissues can heal. If it’s at your hole from stretching, be sure to keep a triple antibiotic ointment on it while it’s healing to preclude infection. If it’s your urethra, keep on mind that the size (inner tubular diameter) is not always equal/consistent. Be sure to take your sounding sessions very slow. Any pain should be a sign to slow down, stop, and assess your situation. If no improvement over time takes place, you’ll need to consider seeking medical attention. Hope this helps you toward enjoyment of your journey!
