Looks good old school. You will find it’s very addictive to keep going to larger gages cause that’s what I did. I started doing mine at maybe a 4g but I kept stretching it out over time and now I’m up to a 00g. I think I’m done for now but time will tell. Thanks guys! I chose the 8 gauge starting point and the piercer was all for it. He said most guys start with a 12, maybe a few 10s. My thought process is that I’d rather get it over with once! I probably won’t go over a 4 gauge though because I’m not well equipped enough and I think it would just look out of place on me.
But so far it’s been amazing! I lasted 6 days after I got it done before I couldn’t help giving it a test run. I haven’t felt anything like it before! I do regret not getting it done a while ago, but I can’t change the past. I had a lot of self confidence issues too so that was a big part of it.
Now I can make up that lost time and I think it’ll be fun.
