I started with having both nostrils pierced at your standard 18gauge. I have a thing for stretching piercings and I decided to go bigger with these. I wanted to create a little larger of a flare with my nostrils. So I got both nostrils re-pierced at 8gauge and I have stretched up to 4gauge since then. End result is entirely pleasing. Nobody realizes the holes are this large until I wear my crystal plugs as shown in the picture, where they act more as a window…and you can see my septum from the outside!
